“ Located right in the city centre, Bill's York restaurant was recommended to us by a few people in York. It's pretty inside and not a typical pub. Was able to get a table at 6:30 but as we were leaving it was reservation only. Food was decent. Greek Salad was good. Seafood pasta was made with a pink sauce. Dessert was the winner. Sea salted Brownie with Sea salt Caramel ice cream. Service was slow, but I'm on vacation so it was fine and very relaxing. ”

A creative offering of sandwiches, salads, and other fare that satisfied the vastly divergent palates of my husband, me, and our 11-year-old son. I wanted scones with clotted cream but my husband didn't want to be caught in the tourist trap that is Betty's so we settled on here. I liked the scones, but they tasted exactly like Tesco's. Clotted cream was delicious. My husband had a burger which he said was very good. Service was fast and friendly. ”
“ If you need a good breakfast then hunt out a Bill's. Great coffee, wonderful orange juice and a very very filling Bill's breakfast. Toast, with Cumberland sausage, mushrooms, eggs, bacon and tomato. We had extras of fried potato and baked beans. That was a mistake. We couldn't eat it all. This is the third Bill's that we have been to and the quality , price and quantity cannot be beaten. ”
